Busy Squirrels in their Drey

What a busy few months for our Squirrels

Over the past couple of months the youngest members of our Scout Group, the Squirrels, have been busy in their weekly meetings. They have worked together in teams to enjoy playing games and have been developing their cutting, colouring and sticking skills whilst painting their own hot air balloons pictures when learning about different flying machines. They have also planted their own cress seeds and decorated their own wooden garden birds in support of the Big Garden Birdwatch. Listening to the weekly story is always a favourite time in the meetings with all Squirrels choosing their own cushion to sit on, to enjoy listening to the book of the day. This week the Squirrels enjoyed a story about Chinese New Year.
