Pond Dipping

2nd Molesey Beavers and Squirrels explored nature and observed some aquatic creatures with a pond dipping experience at West End Pond in Esher. Led by Hamish and Ali from the Elmbridge Countryside team, they used nets to sweep through the water then examined what they had collected. Any creatures were carefully placed in a tray and included newts, beetles and water boatmen, before being gently released back into the pond. Such a fun and educational activity.
